Institutional Governance, Academic Quality and Operational Standards — Academic Year 2026–27
Rusel School of Business & Technology exists to deliver a British business and technology education of dependable quality — in London, and wherever in the world our students and partners are located. That promise carries an obligation. A student who enrols with RSBT in Lagos, Dubai, Karachi or Chișinău is entitled to precisely the same academic standards, the same transparency of information, the same fairness of assessment and the same protection of their interests as a student studying with us in the United Kingdom. This Manual is how that obligation is made operational.

No policy statement operating within RSBT has authority unless it appears in this Manual or has been formally issued as a controlled amendment to it.
Guiding Principles
Three Principles Through Every Policy
The student interest is paramount — where a policy could reasonably be read two ways, it is to be read in the way that best protects the student.
Decisions must be evidenced — an academic or administrative judgement that cannot be documented cannot be defended.
Standards are not negotiable for commercial convenience — no recruitment target, partnership opportunity or revenue consideration may be permitted to erode an academic standard set in this Manual.

Purpose
In fulfilling its purpose, RSBT:
- Design, deliver and quality-assure undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and professional programmes benchmarked to UK sector reference points.
- Develop the employability and enterprise capability of students through industry-integrated curricula, work placement, internship and applied project work.
- Generate and disseminate applied research and scholarship that is useful to business, government and the professions.
- Extend UK-standard provision internationally through carefully governed partnership, affiliate campus and authorised delivery arrangements.
- Serve the communities in which it operates through lifelong learning, executive education, knowledge exchange and social responsibility activity.
- Conduct its affairs lawfully, transparently, sustainably and with financial prudence.
