Central London, UK · Centre of Professional Development
High-stakes negotiation, influence without authority and stakeholder command — for leaders who must win the room.
A Message from the Dean of Academics
“Leaders rarely get what they deserve — they get what they negotiate. This programme builds the craft to strike high-stakes deals, the influence to move people without authority, and the diplomacy to command a room full of competing interests.”
— Office of the Dean of Academics, Rusel School of Business & Technology, UKA high-intensity weekend programme for leaders and teams — two six-hour sessions (with an optional third) on high-stakes negotiation, influence without authority and stakeholder diplomacy. Programme Snapshot
Everything a senior executive needs to know before enrolling — format, pedagogy, investment, and the capabilities you will walk away with.
What You Will Master
Five Core Capabilities
Prepare
the ground — map interests, BATNA, ZOPA and leverage before you sit down.
Create
value — expand the pie through interest-based, principled negotiation.
Claim
with skill — anchor, concede and close while protecting the relationship.
Influence
without authority — persuade, build coalitions and shift positions.
Command
the stakeholders — run multi-party diplomacy and produce a negotiation strategy.
Curriculum
Programme Sessions
Two six-hour sessions across one weekend, each half masterclass and half live negotiation clinic — building one continuous piece of work: a negotiation strategy for a high-stakes deal you actually face. An optional third session runs a multi-party diplomacy simulation.
Principled Negotiation & Deal-Making
Prepare, create and claim value in high-stakes deals while protecting relationships.
Influence, Persuasion & Difficult Conversations
Move people without authority and handle hard conversations with craft.
Stakeholder Diplomacy & Multi-Party Simulation
Optional extension: run a multi-party diplomacy simulation with live coaching.
Two Ways to Engage
This programme is built for targeted upskilling. Run it for an individual, a leadership team, or a whole deal team — on a fixed calendar or stood up quickly when a major deal, dispute or stakeholder stand-off demands a sharper hand at the table.
What You Leave With
This is not a theory seminar. You spend most of the weekend negotiating — live, coached and debriefed — and leave with a strategy for a real deal, plus a reusable playbook you can open before your next high-stakes conversation.
Weekend Schedule
Your Intensive Journey
Two six-hour sessions across a single weekend, with an optional third session added on a following Saturday.
Session 01 — Core Masterclass & Clinic
6 hrs · Method + applied work
Session 02 — Core Masterclass & Clinic

Optional Session 03 — Extension Lab
6 hrs · Team systems / simulation
How You Learn
Applied Clinics, Not Lectures
Pre-Session Preparation
A negotiation case, a short briefing & a style self-assessment arrive ahead of the weekend, framed by guiding questions.
Practitioner Masterclass
Negotiators and diplomats teach the craft, then show how it plays out in real deals and disputes.
Live Negotiation Clinic
Most of every session is hands-on — you negotiate real scenarios and get coached on the tape.
Cohort Peer Review
Peers across roles and sectors debrief each other’s tactics, moves and outcomes.
Assessment & Award
On the certification track, assessment is applied and cumulative — every component builds toward the same real negotiation, so nothing is busywork. The masterclass track is non-assessed and earns a certificate of completion.
On the certification track, score 50%+ overall and attend both core sessions to earn the RSBT–CPD Professional Certification. High-distinction recipients (80%+) are recommended for advanced standing into RSBT’s Executive Diploma pathways in leadership and strategy.
